HPE Academic Alliance Program FAQs

Q: I registered for the HPE Academic Alliance Training, but my registration was cancelled.
A: To access the HPE Academic Alliance training, you must register using your valid university email address. If you are not a student or faculty member, or if you register with a partner or customer email address, your registration may be cancelled. As an alternative, for students and instructors not currently participating in the program, you have the option to freely participate in the Open Learning program.

Q: I cannot find or access the HPE Academic Alliance Training.
A: Log in to the HPE Networking Training Portal. If the course has been assigned to you, it will appear on the home page under My Training Enrollment and/or My Subscriptions. If you do not see the training assignment, then please scroll to the bottom of the landing page (home page) and you will see the specific courses for which you have authorization to enroll in. If you are still unable to view or access the training, then please open a support ticket with the academic alliance team to confirm that your user account has been provided with the appropriate content access permissions.

Q: How long can I access the course modules?
A: You can access the course modules for 90 days from the date they are assigned to your account. If you need more time for some reason, then please open a support ticket with the academic alliance team.

Q: How can I access the labs?
A: Scroll down on the landing page (home page) of the HPE Networking Training Portal and you will find links to access the labs for each respective course. If you don’t see any of the academic alliance courses, then you need to open a support ticket with the academic alliance team to confirm that your account has the appropriate content access permissions.

Q: How long can I access the labs?
A: You can access the default virtual-labs assigned along with JNCIA-Junos, JNCIA-Security and JNCIA-DevOps for 90 days from the date courses are assigned to your account.

Q: I passed the voucher assessment, but I have not received my Pearson VUE certification exam voucher.
A: Look for the specific “voucher assessment test” under “Training History” and if you scored 70% or higher, then the voucher should be visible. You should have also received an email notification with the voucher code. If not, you can click on the voucher assessment test and select the option to “Retake” the test (not review). Upon passing you will be issued a Pearson VUE written exam voucher. If you are still facing an issue, then please open a support ticket with the academic alliance team to investigate the situation.

Q: I accidentally deleted the lab user during my lab session. How can I recover it?
A: Please refer to the lab recovery guide provided with your course or open a support ticket with the lab support team

Q: During the lab session I accidentally deleted the “lab” username from my session, please let me know how to recover it.
